Taking Things For Granted – Gratitude Stories
Today the power went out in the area I live in San Diego. It happened only two minutes before I recorded this video which made me realize how often taking things for granted is something I do every day.
Taking things for granted is something we do because we are spoiled with all the luxuries in life that technology and advancements of the 21st century have given us.
We can find gratitude stories within our friends, family and within ourselves. I personally have created a list of the 10 things I am most grateful about and read it every morning after I wake up and at night before I go to bed. It reminds me that I am truly blessed and fortunate to have them in my life.
If I can’t be grateful about the things I have today, how can I be prepared to receive more in my life tomorrow?
We must be grateful for the things we have so we can have more abundance in our lives. You’ve probably heard that famous quote:
What goes around, comes around
Well, that is because if we exude gratitude on a daily basis and are generous with the world, we will get that back in return multiplied. So having gratitude stories within our own family circle can be achieved by providing a good example for others to replicate. Good actions are contagious. If others see the good we do, then others will follow by simple nature and taking things for granted will be a smaller part of our lives over time.
I would like to hear about your gratitude stories below.
Until my next post. Bye for now.
